Alternate Ending
You’ve been on holiday to Sāmoa. Now you’re back in New Zealand, waiting to go through customs. You’ve filled in a passenger arrival card – and no, nothing to declare. One of the quarantine officers has a sniffer dog, a cute beagle, making its way down the queue. Eventually, the beagle reaches you. The dog seems interested in the pocket on your backpack, and that’s when you remember ... yesterday’s mango! The parents are really worried that they might not go back to New Zealand because they weren't allowed to bring any food in the plane like a mango because there might be flies hiding in the mango.The officer said that they have to throw away the mango because its not allowed to bring mango in the plane and the officer grab the mango and throw it away ,The officer said that you must always check your backpack and luggage if there are and food that are not allowed to bring.The officer said that there allowed to go now and go inside of the plane because the mango is already out,The family is now in the New Zealand.

ReplyDeleteIt is very hard to write an alternative ending for a non-fiction article. However, this does show that you understand New Zealand's border restrictions and what can or can't be brought into the country.
This activity would have been easier for you if you had chosen a fictional story. Maybe you could try that next time?
